In late December, just before the holiday, we went into my east side house and recorded all the tracks for a new record. Start to finish, it took 2 days start to record. I have always had had the vision of recording a record that sounded more like 'cabin music.' The house we used is old and small and tucked just east of the highway, yet, still within earshot of the highway hum. The dogs and chicken in the backyard. I worked with Scott Davis and Falcon Valdez. What we came away with was In the Light of the Lantern.
